Service Description
Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It works by mimicking the effects of the GLP-1 hormone, which is naturally produced in the body. GLP-1 plays a crucial role in regulating blood sugar levels by stimulating insulin secretion and lowering glucagon secretion when blood sugar levels are high. Additionally, it slows gastric emptying and reduces appetite, which can contribute to weight loss in patients with chronic weight management needs.
Cancellation Policy
To continue providing timely, personalized care, each appointment is reserved exclusively for you. When appointments are missed or canceled at the last minute, it limits access for other patients and impacts clinic operations. Scheduling Policy • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. • Patients who cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to attend a scheduled appointment may be assessed a late cancellation/no-show fee $25 • Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled. • No credit card is required to schedule your initial appointment. • If a late cancellation or no-show fee is incurred, the fee must be paid in full before another appointment can be scheduled. • After two or more missed appointments, Lotus Care & Wellness reserves the right to require a non-refundable deposit or prepayment for future appointments or decline future scheduling. • Exceptions may be made for verified emergencies at the provider's discretion. Patient Acknowledgment I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Lotus Care & Wellness Appointment and Cancellation Policy. I understand that any applicable late cancellation or no-show fee must be paid before scheduling a future appointment.
